    Quick Pain Relief
I bought this about about a six weeks out from an ankle strain after aggravating the original injury. Comfortable and keeps ankle stable but with a good range of motion. Swelling was down the same day and pain nearly gone the second. I found it difficult to fit into a regular shoe, however, so only wear it at home or with Birkenstocks when out.

Top quality, Used by my Orthopedist, Just measure your ankle circumference for correct sizing
This ankle stabilizer works great. My orthopedist gave me one and it has held up very well. But I wore out the heel stitching after a year of daily use. I believe the stitching wore out because the product size had too much material there for my size. My Ortho gave me a size medium (which was fitted by a specialist at his office) and it may have been too big (just in that area). I think their sizing is off. For example, my ankle may have been 12” a year ago after I got my cast off. That’s a size small. Today, it is a 10” circumference and that is an x-small according to their sizing. I wear a shoe size 8 1/2. How could I be an x-small in anything? Other ankle stabilizer brands have size charts with circumference size and shoe size. I’m a medium with those. But I bought another Ossur Speed Lace because they really are top quality and stabilize my ankle really well.

    Excellent for a sprained ankle
Suffered a high ankle sprain while running, and once the swelling went down, I was back at with this brace. It’s a little thick, so not the easiest to get under a shoe, but it’s doable. And for that thickness you get a ton of support, so I was confident running on a sprain that hadn’t really healed, and felt fine. I’ve tried several over-the-counter braces, and this is an excellent one if you really want firm support.

Good support but tears eventually with every day use.
I originally was given this exact brace when I broke my ankle two years ago. I bought this one again here on Amazon after daily use caused it to rip and tear. The second one I bought on Amazon ripped eventually also, but lasted a lot less time than the one given to me by my orthopedist. I bought it in December 2019, and I’m ordering another in June 2020. I think it’s because I use it every single day, since I still have ankle problems. But, don’t take my review the wrong way. I have flat feet and a weird ankle size so I may have been ordering too big of a size. This brace allows for limited range of motion which I like, because it’s preventing me from rolling my ankle again and exacerbating my prior injury. The elastic strap on the outside though does add to the support, which gives me piece of mind.

When your ankle is sore, this brace is the cure!
I’ve worn this soft ankle brace as needed for years and years. It’s washable, comfortable, and it reinforces my ankle when it is sore until it is no longer sore. It fits well over my sock and inside my footwear. It’s durable! I gave one of these to a friend after they twisted their ankle and they have thanked me ever since. It won’t last forever, because the shell of this soft brace is made from fabric. You’ll get your money’s worth from it and also peace of mind from having it available when you unexpectedly need it.

    Disappointed
Doctor ordered me to wear an ankle brace for 6 weeks- 5 months after ORIF surgery. Insurance didn’t cover what they put patients in, so he said I could find one cheaper on Amazon. After looking at several, I went with this one as it appeared to be closest to the one at Orthopedic office and $20ish cheaper than that brand. Package arrived quickly, packed fine, but upon opening and trying on- disappointing. The base is very loose & bunches up – reminds me of a irregular cut during manufacturing (I’ve done industrial sewing, so familiar with specs). The side pieces that offer stability aren’t even metal. Putting this on did not make me feel supported. I felt more stable in an ankle brace compression sock (with an added ACE velcro brace). After spending 4 months of non weight bearing and 1 month weight bearing in a walking boot, I was very excited to be able to walk with just a brace! This brace was just disappointing, I should have went with the brand from the doctors office the first time! Now I’m out the cost of this one (pointless to return) and the cost of purchasing the one I should have got the first time.
