These are surprisingly a little bit thicker than I expected; but that’s a good thing. They appear well made and should be perfect for cooler weather. I do like the fit and comfort.

Very Comfortable, Stretchable Pants for Workout or Lounging
I don’t usually buy clothes from Amazon, and am not generally into sweatpants or exercise wear. However, at a recent work off-site event, I received a pair of branded yoga pants from my employer that fit like a glove and are incredibly comfortable. As I work remotely, from home, these pants have now become my go-to for day-to-day wear around the house and for lounging in comfort. Loving this pair, I wanted to find a similar pair of black, stretchable sweatpant/jogger style pants. That is when I noticed the Amazon Essentials Men’s Performance Stretch Contrast Woven Training Jogger Pants and decided to give them a try.Just to note, I am 5’10” tall and currently weigh 227 pounds. I ordered the XXL size which is what I’m reviewing.Pros: The pants are made out of very stretchable and comfortable polyester. They fit will on my body and are just right-sized. What I like about the pants are that they have a stretchable elastic waist, but also have a drawstring that you can tie to tighten the waste. Being on a GLP-1 for the last nine months, I’ve lost over 60 pounds and my waistline has been constantly shrinking. As such, I like a pair of pants with an adjustable waistline at this point in time. The pants are heavy enough to be warm and comfortable, but the material still breathers and does not hold in excess heat. The material is gathered near the ankles but not with a tight elastic band so they are still somewhat loose. The pants also have zippered pockets which are nice to store items and be sure they don’t fall out when exercising or lounging around the house. These are definitely very comfortable to wear.Cons: I can’t really find any cons about these pants. They fit fine and are well made. Their price, $29.99 on Amazon, is fair for their overall quality and appearance.My final take: If you are looking for a comfortable pair of jogger/sweatpants/yoga pants for either exercise or lounging around the house, these pants would make an excellent choice. The fabric is quality and has a nice stretchiness to it. The waistband is elastic and has a drawstring so is adjustable for those either perhaps putting on pounds or (as in my case) shedding them. The zippered pockets are also a plus to ensure you don’t lose your keys or other items in your pockets. The price is also fair for the over all value that you receive. These pants fit me well and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this style of workout/lounging pants.

Excellent performance; much better than expected.
I gave these a try even though I was dubious of their synthetic material. Turns out I was totally wrong. Like so many other Amazon Essential products, this jogger pant performs well above its weight and cost.I usually don’t go for polyester garments. They’re either prickly or just plain uncomfortable. But when I opened the package and sampled the texture of this pant I found it different than others made from similar fabris. Much better. In regards to fit, it was suggested that I order this jogger pant in the XXL size, when I usually wear XL. Turns out XXL was perfect because it left me plenty of room to flex my legs when running. Then came the real test; wearing this pant on a cold evening run. The pant functions perfectly at between 40 and 50 degrees. Below that, (the 30s) you’ll probably want some kind of undergarment, but at the cold but not freezing temperatures they keep wind and chill at bay. Most important, they feel good against my skin. The material is a medium weight; it’ll cut the wind. Beyond that the pants are more than basic. They’re gathered at the bottom, in a way that keeps cold air out. Just as important there are large zip pockets on the left and right side, pockets large enough to fit a phone. And the zippers are both sturdy and unobtrusive. All in all I was very impressed with this product. It’s functional, well designed ,and priced right. Just remember to order one size larger than you ordinarily wear. For example, I’m 6′ 3″ and 180 lbs and the XXL pant fits well and offers plenty of room for me to flex while running.

Surprisingly Comfortable (Color Was Not My Favorite Though)
I honestly wish Amazon converted the sizes to pants size selections (i.e 30×30, 32×32,36×36, etc.) rather than keeping them “small, medium, etc.” Here is my review on the sizes/fit/color/comfort,Waist: I wear 32 waist jeans/chinos and Small fits me. I prefer pants that are slightly tighter than “true to size” so I think small is more for those with 30-31 waist. If you are on the upper 32, I suggest you get a medium.Length: I 5’6″ and small fits perfectly. Although somewhat loose, there are bands that hold the pants in your ankles. I think medium would be bit too long for meFit: I think this is in between tapered/slim fit. It gets pretty tight on the legs and roomy on the thighsColor: I have dark green and it looks more like green. I was thinking of dark green color similar to those from Lulu brand, but this is more like a green uniform from the Squid Game. It is also on the shiny side rather than matte so it looks even greener.Quality: Stitches/finishings were surprisingly good. Pocket zippers were not something I expected from pants around this price level. Stretchiness is also good considering it is 100% polyester.Stretchiness/Comfort: I own several performance pants including those from On Running, Adidas, and Nike. Personally, I think the quality almost matches the pants I have from On Running. Of course, On Running ones have used better quality fabric and more favorable color, but they also cost almost $100 while this is about 1/3 of that price. I feel almost the same quality of stretchiness and comfort wearing this.Overall: If I could get another one, I definitely would, but in different color. (like black, charcoal, or navy)

I love a good comfy track pants and these fit the bill. The fabric feels good, feels durable enough and fits me well. Really appreciate the zip pockets which make them more of a wearing when going out that simply just for lounging in. I’m happy with them.

I think these trouser are true to size, they fit really well and they are comfortable to wear. They are perfect for lounging around the house, wearing in the gym or a casual trip to the shops or movies. The waist band doesn’t dig in at all and the length is perfect. They are good quality, they’re a decent thickness and feel warm when on. For the price, I am quite happy.

Die Hose hat mich wirklich positiv überrascht: Der Stoff ist genau richtig – dick genug, um nicht billig zu wirken, aber nicht so schwer, dass man ins Schwitzen kommt, bevor man überhaupt trainiert. Der Schnitt sitzt bei mir perfekt: bequem, ohne zu quetschen, und trotzdem ordentlich.Besonders nett finde ich die Hosentaschen mit Reißverschluss. Endlich muss ich nicht mehr alle paar Minuten paranoid prüfen, ob Schlüssel oder Handy noch da sind – hier bleibt alles sicher verstaut.
