Homitem was created from a small town in 2014, China. Our founder lived a hard time beause he was born in a farmer family during his childhold. He saw his parents going to farm every moring at 5 am and came back late in night. Wrinkles and rough skin covered his parents’ whole body，especially their feet, which had swollen as they walked over 10 miles every day.

After 5 years of experiment, we successfully designed slippers with the goal of comforting extremely tired feet by using mattress memory foam, gel insoles, and anti-shock cushioning. We name our slippers after the words “Home” and “item”, which means “A Home Relationship”. It is a memento of who we should be grateful and what we represent.

After he graduated from colleage, he used his first salary in his lifetime to buy two pairs of slippers as gifts for his parents, which as also for being grateful for them. Seeing happinese from their face, our founder decided to create a company which goal was “Providing Soft and Affordable Slippers For Hard Working People “.
