Currently wearing right now- and I love it
I am always on the lookout for comfy clothes to layer in this ridiculously variable weather we have down here on the Gulf Coast, so when I saw this hooded long sleeve top, I jumped at the chance to try it.The shirt is thin, similar to a sports shirt, but soft, stretchy, and comfortable, and wears really well as a layering shirt under other clothing. I especially love the fact that it has a hood and face mask as part of the design, which makes it a perfect base layer to my summer dresses in the fall. I just pair the shirt with a set of black tights and now I can stay warm and keep wearing the clothes I feel comfortable in.

The opening is an issue
To the point. The style of Balaclava they chose is far too open. Allows for too much air to seep in. I understood what the style was going for, but it’s just too much of an opening for the face to keep both the mouth and forehead covered while keeping air out. Maybe it was designed for spring/fall… Not winter. Idk.

It’s a novel idea to integrate a balaclava with a shirt, and I like the result.As a shirt, it’s a lightweight, stretchy (12% spandex) material whose fit is snug without feeling tight. Sleeve length, chest width, and collar-to-waist feel proportionate.The face covering pulls up over the ears and nose. The material is perforated for extra breathability, but I still found that my glasses get fogged up.The three-piece hood is firmly stitched to the neckline. The snug fit is perfect under another hat or a helmet.The face covering and hood can be used together or independently.Manufacturing quality is excellent. Stitching is strong, and attention was given to the cuff, waist hem, and the edge of the hood to make them durable.Lightweight, so it won’t give great warmth on its own, but as a base layer, it will protect skin from wind exposure.I wore it out on a bike ride in 50-degree weather with 30 mph winds with the hood under the helmet. A few miles into the ride, I realized it was a bit too warm for the weather because the heat from my back could not escape at the collar. So even though it’s a lightweight material, it did provide warmth and wind protection.Overall, it’s a great addition to my cold-weather gear.
