Just my opinion –
Great shirt for winter
This shirt is medium to heavy weight in its fabric composition. I would love to wear it now but it’s summer in Texas and I just couldn’t do it. Land’s End makes t-shirts and tunics that have lightweight cotton fabric that I wear in the summer. As far as this shirt goes, I will come looking for it in the fall because it will keep me warm and comfortable with the nice soft cotton it is made of. It is gray which I think is a good neutral color and the gray color is smooth and blended together instead of some grays with hints of stripes and speckles of salt and pepper. Due to it’s high quality of cotton fabric and great construction for a good fit, I would say this shirt is a good value for your money.

Amazon recommended I buy a large when I usually wear an XL. The large fits. It is a great shirt for layering. It is very stretchy. I machine washed and dried it before I wore it and there was no shrinkage. I will be buying another one.

Not the same
I bought this top in burgundy and was very impressed, so ordered this deep sea navy version under the same listing. It’s not the same fabric. This one is very lightweight compared to the midweight burgundy I received. And if this is a rib knit, I’ll need a microscope to verify it. I have no doubt it’s a good quality shirt, but it’s not as described by the AI or in the reviews. And a very big disappointment to me after the burgundy. I’d planned to buy 2 more, but am fairly sure the white would be almost see-through. If you’re looking for warmth, look elsewhere. Again, this is very good quality, if you want very lightweight cotton. There is almost no stretch, but these run a little large. I think the price is a little high, but I’m a bargain hunter! The colors are beautiful. This navy also looks boxy compared with the burgundy because the fabric has less “give.” I decided to return this because I need more warmth for a long sleeved winter shirt. I gave this 4 stars because it is a great top if you want what it has to offer. It would make a nice piece for layering when going in and out of cold weather and overheated buildings. Perfect for the miseries of menopause, too.

Beautiful cotton long sleeve tshirt. I’m size 38 bust and I got the medium tall. It runs a little large. I washed it and it looks great. It did not shrink at all. I love the long arms. It’s super soft and comfortable. It’s a good weight. It won’t show love handles.

Fits well, but…
I had previously purchased three of these T-shirts, in three colors. I was pleased that they were available in a petite size, so that the length worked for my short torso. The fabric was sturdy, smoothly ribbed; almost luxurious cotton, and held up well. However, this most recent purchase, in black, is made of a lighter weight ribbed cotton than the previous ones. It still fits well, but does stretch more, and the seams are not as smooth. I would have returned it, but it is a wardrobe essential for me.I have laundered it three times(cold water, gentle cycle, drip dry). We will see how it holds up.

Pleasantly pleasing purchase.
Small size – sleeves are longish which is great to just push up a-little while the body is very comfortable with a nice length & fit. Very much as described with item a pleasant feel and neat casual look. Will likely order a few more colors for cooler weather layering with this simple yet versatile purchase.
