The Next Best Thing…
It’s been a minute since I bought these, and I thought I did a review for these already. I recently saw that I have quite a few of these compression shirts (and pants to coordinate with them) that I use for my ongoing physical therapy sessions, at home and at the clinics. But these were the first of them all and, believe it or not, the best of them all. This is even considering the white tiger shirring shirt that I thought was a compression shirt…looks awesome, but not entirely comfortable. These have a fleece lining that gives them breathability and weight. They’ve also held up well, since I was a hard-head and washed/dried them maybe a handful of times with either fabric softener or dryer sheets, which is not recommended. I wish DEVOPS made more sets, like coordinating pants to go with these shirts, but there’s a slew of other companies that do, and I found DRSKIN to fit that bill the most. Other shirts I’ve purchased either a) had a low collar, which I typically don’t like or feel comfortable in, b) weren’t fleece-lined as these are or c) failed to have both. That’s more on me than the manufacturers for not reading the description in full – live and learn, yo. These to me are a great lower cost alternative to the best (in my opinion), Under Armour, but we all ain’t rollin’ in dough these days…though I think Groupon has a deal or three with them. Still, DEVOPS has my vote with compression shirts, for the look, comfort and durability. Get you as many as you can get.

Pleasant Surprise
I bought this as a base layer to wear under longsleeved, winter-weight cycling jerseys. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is thinner fabric than I expected, yet is incredibly warm. When I tried the shirt on the first time, within seconds I could feel it radiating warmth back into my body. It is also luxuriously soft! It just feels good on.I would say the fit is about what most people would expect for an underlayer, but I was looking for more of a compression fit, which this definitely is not. I typically wear a large and that is what I bought in this shirt, but it is a much looser fit than my Champion C9 compression shirt. If that is what you are looking for, I would size down one size from your normal size. Otherwise you would probably be pleased with the fit.One durability issue that has given me some concern is that after the first ride I noticed the stubble on my neck had created some pilling on the inside of the mock neck of the shirt. Time will tell whether this becomes a larger issue or not. it probably has something to do with the softness of the fabric. All in all, I would definitely buy these again, and will, although I will probably buy a smaller size next time. They really are great shirts, and well worth the price!

It works and fits. My negat8ve points are that it angles the yabket too far down and also it doesn’t clip close. Other than that it a high quality protector and I like it. –
Good fit and elasticity, comfortable and warm. I like these and will probably order more.
