The Men’s Gel-Excite 11 Running Shoes pleasantly exceeded my expectations with their solid build quality, comfortable cushioning, and breathable fit, making them a reliable option for everyday runs and casual wear; while not designed for high-performance training, their durability and comfort deliver great value for the price.

Comfortable for casual use
Arrived in good condition; correct size and color. A bit squishier than the Excite 10s with slightly less pronounced arch support. Lightweight design w/breathable upper continues from previous generation. Easy on/off; no need to untie with moderate lace tightness. Works well for my intended use; not a runner but need a supportive shoe and decent impact absorption. Time will tell whether the softer undercarriage holds up.

Great fit. True to size in label. Love the support and the sturdy feel from heal to toe. Will take it out for a run tomorrow, but from past experience already know its going to be a great shode with mid to top range performance.

Good for shoe inserts, perfectly sized, well made
12.5 is not available in most stores. Which is ridiculous. 12 is too small, 13 is too big. I have two older sons that this is the case for. One is 17 and one is 25. They also both wear shoe inserts that help with pronation. If you have ever worn shoe inserts you know they never fit the best width wise. You also know it’s a drag ripping out the sole from the shoe to put the inserts in. I found these shoes at sporting goods store but only in size 12, or 13.. After a day of wearing we knew the 13 was just too big for our 17yo. So I decided to order the 12.5 on here. They are amazingly well made and the width is so good for inserts! It’s not necessarily that you have to”wide” feet. They are not like boats, but what you would expect when something says wide. Oh and the shoe inserts that comes inside it NOT glued down which is a HUGE plus for replacing with the specific inserts we use. I also noticed under the inserts was a great made sole. It was very squishy and looked like it will hold up a lot better than a previous high dollar brand. They are sized absolutely perfectly, btw. Do you know how many shoes he tried on at the store? Trust me…the size is accurate, lol! They come in black and white which is a stipulation of my sons. He never wants anything flashy, like orange or like green. My son marches for band in school and these are great for practice. He also tore his acl in PE and these have been very stable for his recovery. I will continue to buy these and considering buying a back up pair in case they decide to quit selling them.
