Great warm layer
Good!!, It’s not as thick as most hoodies but my son used and will continue to use it as a layer, he said it was warm Halloween night were it was around the 40s and raining, nice 100% cotton hoodie. He he color is black but compared to richer and more vibrant blacks with polyester blend it is a lighter shade.

Comfy and lightweight
Bought one of these to try it and ended up immediately buying another in a different color since I liked it so much! The texture is similar to thermal underwear but slightly heavier…still soft though and perfect for layering or for cooler fall evenings when a thicker cotton hoodie would be too warm. It’s a generous fit so if you like your shirts looser, order your size, if you prefer a more fitted look you should probably consider a size smaller. This hoodie looks more expensive than it actually is…looks boutique-ish without the boutique price. Overall it’s a great buy if you are looking for a lightweight hoodie. Wish they had more colors in my size available…if they did I would buy a few more!

Very comfortable but beware: sizing unreliable and SEVERE shrinking in wash
First off, this is super comfortable and exactly what I was looking for.HOWEVER, be warned of two things before you purchase:1) Sizing is not reliable. I purchased an XL in blue and dark gray. Sizing was vastly different for the two XLs. Dark gray fit more like an XXL while blue fit like an XL. That said, read on…2) SEVERE shrinking in first wash. The dark gray started off like an XL, hanging 2-3 inches down my hand. I decided to keep because I didn’t want to return and decided an extra loose hoodie would be OK. After the first wash, it had literally shrunk a full size. It fits me perfect now. However, be warned that the way it fits out of the bag may in no way represent how it fits after washing.In summary, would buy again but glad I purchased a size up. After first wash, both XL fit between a L and XL. Hoping they don’t shrink any further.

Hard find. There are so many different hoodies out there. Most are made of polyester (yuck). This is cotton and has a nice look to it.

Comfy, but weirdly shaped.
It’s pleasant to wear, despite the rough texture of the fabric. My issue is the thing was designed for the mayor of Halloween Town. I’ve never met anyone with a traffic cone for a body, but this thing would fit them perfectly.For me, it’s nice around the arms and neck, and insanely wide around the waist. I could cut out 6 inches of material around the waist and still have room to play with.Maybe look elsewhere if you care about that sort of thing.

Nothing like the picture. I got med tall for a 18 year old didn’t begin to fit.I am 5’4 and wouldn’t been long enough for 5’3″ person

They do shrink
If you want to minimize shrinkage, you need to wash them with cold water and air-dry instead of tumble-drying.While I have many Carhartt hoodie T-shirts, I love this Slub Cotton Thermal with its waffle weave and vintage-looking texture. It embodies an aesthetic of imperfections. It also has a kangaroo pocket. It is difficult to find hoodie T-shirts, unlike regular hoodies, with a kangaroo pocket.As for the color, Black is not truly black. It is more like dark navy or dark gray. It may be called Black Wash.I bought a few when the price went down, as the price fluctuates.

I love this hoodie. My brother has had one for a while and I’ve always admired it from afar. Finally I decided to bite the bullet and purchase one. Bizarrely, this hoodie just has two one star reviews as of writing this. Now because I’d seen one in person and tried it on I knew I liked the fit before I bought it but I could see this turning other customers away. I’d advise looking at the amazon.com reviews instead as they seem far more accurate to the product.The hoodie itself is very nice. It’s a light thin material making it a perfect warm weather hoodie (exactly what I was looking for). I’m usually a medium – occasionally large – and the medium size fits me perfectly.That’s all I have to say really. It’s a good hoodie and I like it.
