Does not have RFID chip (but there is work-around), fit perfectly, water is clean again
It was time to replace the water filter for company’s Elkay system so we chose this non-OEM brand which was definitely less expensive than the brand name.I noted that most non-OEM brands stated they did not contain the RFID chip. Apparently, Elkay, in an effort to control the filter replacements, has a hidden RFID chip under every one of its OEM bottle labels. If you place a new non-OEM bottle (without the chip), the system signals an error and may not work.But, I looked at a video online and there is a work-around. All you do is remove the chip from underneath the original bottle label and apply it/paste it to the label on the new filter bottle–and voila, the system senses a genuine Elkay replacement.So, our technician friend who helped us out (it’s a bit complicated, I think, putting in the replacement filter) did this and the system did not generate an error.Perhaps you don’t necessarily need the workaround on every system but I didn’t want to mess anything up.So, with the new filter in place (which fit perfectly says the technician), we now have clean filtered drinking water again.According to the filter bottle company, one bottle can filter up to 3000 gallons of municipal water from your water line. It takes out particulates, chemicals, lead, and even cysts that cause human illnesses.So, clearly I’m impressed with these filters and we will get them again.

If you are like me and are a bit leery when purchasing water filters online, these are very good quality filters These filters are great replacement filters for the gravity water filter systems and they make the water taste clean. they come with everything you need to prime and install them. I do recommend and I will buy these filters again..

Great Price Point!
It’s not time for me to change the filters in my Berkey yet so I’m not positive on how well these work, but they look like the real deal and the components are exactly the same so I know they’ll fit. It’s nice to know that more affordable filters are available. This is a sizable savings. If I experience any surprises after installing them I’ll be back to add to my review.

Great Replacement Filter!
Simply stated, that Filter fits into the Berkley filtration system without difficulty. I also think that this filter may work in a survival situation by placing the Filter into a System that works purely on a filtration system, and the the Filter Outlet gives access to the fresh water. Very satisfied.

Berkey users will know that the filtration is the most important part of the whole operation. These replacement filters fit perfectly, and look exactly like the more expensive branded Berkey filters. My water is crisp and clean and delicious!
