Comfortable socks
Very warm and comfortable.
Maia Lynn –
Pretty good and warm. No complaints
They’re easy to put on, thick, comfortable and warm enough in Michigan cold nights. Feet do not feel sweaty or damp after wearing for long periods of time. They could be a little warmer and they are so thick it could make your feet a little more snug in your shoe.

Warmth with comfort
These make my feet happy, when my feet are happy my life just seems a bit better. I’ll admit that after living with cold feet that are beyond what most people will ever understand because of combined medical problems, I fell in love with Heat Holder socks & have nothing but high regard for that product. These claiming a higher 4.7 T.O.G. rating with an even better price had me very skeptical but I felt I needed to give them a try. They didn’t disappoint a bit! They are warmer to me though “normal” people may not notice quite as much as I do. They provide the insulation without constricting circulation & in that aspect are much like good diabetic stockings. They also do not seem to cause or accumulate foot perspiration if breathable footwear is worn which is a huge plus for me. They also seem very microbial resistant so I’ve never noticed any locker room gym sock smell. Very few things achieve perfection in our real world but these are close, so much so that I’ve hesitated giving an honest review out of selfish concern of them selling out. The noted drawbacks or “weaknesses” are: They lose insulating quality if wet from a boot leak or sweat if wearing non-breathable boots or shoes, for those possibilities merino wool or felt may be better or used in combination. The very rim of every pair I own has outwardly rolled downward an 1/8th to a 1/4 inch, though I launder them with everything else & dry them with normal heat, I may very well be causing it, they haven’t frayed a bit & don’t shrink down like Heat Holders more temporarily do. They do seem to attract pet hair, dust or lint like a magnet so that I won’t say is good or bad, just another reality though a sticky roller brush will clear that off nicely. They insulate so effectively that if you need to warm your toes by a fire or space heater as I often do, they’ll need to come off which is probably best to prevent them from being damaged or you burned anyway. Probably the most notable thing outside of the extra warmth & very important to me is I haven’t had any stretching or slippage from these socks or the much more expensive Heat Holder socks, with a bad lower back that is a major thing. ..if they ever make 4.7 longjohns, body suits or even a onesie, I will try to be 1st in line, when it comes to warm & comfortable I don’t care how silly I may look. The fact that the seller, Classy Collection extended the effort to make sure everything was satisfactory & shipping/arrival was up to par was just icing on the cake to me as a consumer & these are the only socks I have ever gifted to dear friends. In all reality & if anyone could ever see my toes turn blueish black from frostbite, I consider these socks to be true toe savers.

Crew is too
Three stars because they are supposed to be for men and women. Men may be disappointed (as I am) because they are crew socks but do not go up to a normal men’s crew height. They work for warmth, but they slip down the leg easily. I recommend for women.
In My Opinion –
Sturdy, well made and long lasting
These thermal socks are very sturdy and well made. This is the second year I’ve purchased them.

Really good socks for my boots and slippers
Amazon says “men or women” and socks package says “men”, but feet are the same shape for both, but men’s are bigger. I’m size 9 1/2 women’s. (Which translates to size 7 1/2 men’s). The socks are size 10 men’s (basically 2 sizes larger than my feet), but they fit okay, if a little loose and bulky. They work fine inside of my wellies, or my steel-toed boots (both of which need really fat socks to fit right), and good with my slippers as well. Not so good a fit in my walking shoes, unfortunately. (Maybe these can come in a smaller size, sometime in the future?)And I was happy to finally find a pair of socks that are NOT tight around the top. (Most modern socks cut grooves into my legs, which are uncomfortable.)They’re very plushy. If you’ve ever worn “Softest Socks” by Hanes, they feel like that inside. And yes, cozy. Very very cozy. Quite warm. I’m always looking for warm socks. My feet get very cold frequently (to the point of chilblains and mild frostbite even) and so I like nice thick plushy warm socks.

Sock was thick. Worn it with winter shoe in Harbin with average temperature of -10 to -20 degrees celcius. Most of the time was warm enough but feet felt cold occasionally. Cold could be eased with heat pack. Do note that this is the first time travelling to such cold area and not experienced with these type of socks and winter shoe and how they should perform and feel under cold weather. The cuffs could be a bit more tight and a lot of fluff on first wear. Do note that that there’s only 4 pairs, the color option of “4black 1 Grey 1 Navy 2.3” is misleading.
