Really great strap for stretching!
This strap is amazing! It is easily portable, & lightweight. It folds up easily, or rolls up nicely for travel. However, the reason why I love this strap so much is that I am finally able to stretch out muscle groups that I have not been able to stretch in YEARS because I either cannot move in to the position to stretch fully, or because I haven’t been able to stretch properly in to a position. This is easy to use, extremely versatile for multiple stretches covering your whole body, & it is incredibly comfortable overall. I am thrilled that I have this!

Sturdy and versatile prop
The California Wellness Yoga Strap with Loops is a high quality, well-designed and stitched belt that is great value for the money. I am a longtime yoga practitioner and have used the usual plain yoga belts for decades. I have been curious about these looped straps for quite a while, so I finally gave in and tried this one. The blue color I chose is appealing and contrasts well with the more common colors of yoga paraphernalia. Dimensions and appearance are exactly as described. The fabric is sturdy and does not appear to present durability issues.The belt has some stretch but is more firm than the plain belts, I suppose because of the stitching from the loops. It is a very useful length, neither too short or cumbersome. I find that I do prefer this style to the usual belt because I can easily loop my foot or arm (or even both) in the strap without having extra material to wrap or fold. The firmer hold makes it more secure. It is great for general stretching as well. It does not entirely replace the standard belt, which is still my choice for larger loops such as around the legs or hips in Badda Konasana, for example. For straight leg applications such as any of the seated forward bends or reclined stretches such as Supta Padangustasana in particular, however, I have transitioned to using this strap instead of the standard belt.I am extremely pleased with this yoga strap, and it is already a staple of my yoga practice. Should further testing reveal flaws, I will update this review. Until then, I highly recommend this strap as a valuable addition to stretching or yoga practice, particularly for Iyengar enthusiasts or folks like me with tight hamstrings who could use a little help from a prop friend for deeper yet safe stretching.

Stretch Like You Mean It
What I like about this rope is it’s the real deal; good cotton, made in India, none of that weird rubbery junk that looks like taffy and stretches like regret. This one’s solid. The little loops are spaced just right so you can hook a foot in without playing tug-of-war with yourself. Feels good on the bare foot, too; no digging in. That said, it’s not worth what they’re charging. It’s solid, sure, but it’s still just a rope. But hey, definitely beats trying to stretch with an old belt like a caveman.

I love this strap and use it regularly for physical therapy and stretching. It’s lightweight, portable, and feels very well made. The 1-inch wide strap is sturdy and features plenty of loops, making it easy to adjust for different stretches. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Yoga strap with loops. What you absolutely need to know:1. 100% Cotton.2. Made in India3. 6 pockets on each side of the middle.4. It should state this, but not today, this is about 7’ long. (Mine is 83”)5. There is some variation in the 12 pockets. One end opening is slightly smaller than the other.6. The average diameter of a round object (circle) that fits in the 12 pockets is about 4.25”.7. IMHO: With these color bars and 100% cotton, suggest a cold wash and the lightest of machine dry heat for 5 minutes, then hang dry in the breeze. You do not want this to bleed or shrink! The first cold wash with a white volunteer (Unmatched sock?) just to be sure it is color safe.8. Excellent stretching strap. I use it mostly to do lying hamstring stretches. The multiple point grips are really handy and the quality of the strap for the price is fair.
